Application in the gas drainage pump of coal mine

Summary

This is the application case of IDrive2000 MV VFD used in a Guizhou Coal industry Co., Ltd. They adopted the gas drainage pump to discharge gas in the Mined out area. If the gas was discharged too much, the fresh air gone into mined out area, it is very easy to catch fire; If the gas was discharged too less, it is bad to worker’s health. After investigate, adopted MV VFD IMV-A89-F8 to adjusted the running speed of the gas drainage pump. Keeping the best capacity of the gas discharge and save energy.

Application

According to the operating conditions, the Coal mine gas drainage pump running during 50Hz ~ 30Hz, The parameters (average) of the Coal mine gas drainage pump sheet:

Benefit analysis

1. Adjust different running speed of gas drainage pump through analysis of gas discharge parameters, keep the appropriate gas capacity in the Mined out area, ensure the safety of working environment.

2. Soft start and soft stop to gas drainage pump, extend the service life of equipment, limit the impact to power grid, reduce the start peak power loss.

3. Increase the power factor from 0.87 to 0.95 at least, improve the power quality, reduce the charge of electricity.
