Application in the high temperature fan of chemical factory

Summary

This is the application case of IDrive2000 MV VFD used in a Wuhai Chemical Co., Ltd. The factory used water resistance cabinet to start the high temperature fan, but all operated in Maximum frequency. It caused huge waste of resources and more motor maintenance. In order to improve the problems, they used MV VFD instead of water resistance cabinet to control the high temperature fan.

MV VFD model: IMV-A8-F8/0145-0; matching motor power: KV2000kW

Rated output current: 145A, Input power factor: 0.95 (> 20% load)

MV VFD efficiency: under the rated load > 0.96;Output frequency resolution: 0.01Hz;

Analog input: 0 ~ 10V/4 ~ 20mA; any set of analog output: 0 ~ 10V/4 ~ 20mA 2 ways optional;

Benefit analysis

1. Soft start the high temperature fan in variable frequency, reduce the damage and maintenance, extend the service life of motor and load equipment.

2. Adjust the running speed in variable frequency to suit for actual produce requirement, Save energy and reduce emission.

3. Increase the power factor, no need any more reactive power compensation device.
